New members are most welcome.

Do I need to audition?

No. Both experienced singers and those willing to develop their voices are welcome.

Do I need to read music?

An ability to read music is an asset to yourself and other singers - however it is not a prerequisite for joining, and most of our members don’t read music. If you have a deep love of singing, a musical appreciation and are able to follow the direction of notes on a song sheet page, then you will do just fine!

What does it cost?

Once formally joining the choir, you will become a full member of Lindisfarne Riverside Arts Club Inc. Fees are reviewed following each AGM. Currently membership cost is $20.00 per annum or $30.00 a couple (we have a few couples in the choir). In order to cover musical copyright fees, liability insurance, rent, and organisation operational costs, an annual levy of $240.00 applies to each choir member. This fee can be paid as a single payment or by quarterly instalments of $60.00 per quarter.
