Sing with us!

Like any other community based musical or theatrical organisation Lindisfarne Riverside Arts Club Inc comprises of women & men of all ages, and from all walks of life. Each individual contributes their own special abilities and talents to the club's overall performances.

Members within the club often state that this has been their first opportunity to rekindle a lifelong desire to sing with a group. It is a very powerful energy, boosting individual confidence, contributing to health and wellbeing and overall social interaction with like minded people.

There are a number of members who also play musical instruments. We have pianists, a flautist, a trumpet player and guitarists. These instruments are often heard during concert performances or at social nights where impromptu mini performances are undertaken for the enjoyment of members & friends.

Music Director

KIERAN SLICER

Kieran joined our Choir in 2019 as our Accompanist and became our Musical Director in July 2022.

His passion for music saw him complete a Bachelor of Music Arts, as well as obtaining an AMusin singing under the tutelage of Helen Todd.

Kieran works with a number of Hobart Choirs as well as his private piano and singing teaching.

Our Choir continues to grow under his refreshing guidance.

Accompanist

DIANE JONES

Di relocated to Hobart from NSW and brings over 40 years of experience as an accompanist, repetiteur, musical director and associate artist.

She has performed extensively with solo instrumentalists and vocalists, worked with choirs and her local theatre company, and shared the stage with small ensembles and big bands, both professionally and in the community sector.

Di is very happy to have found a place with the Lindisfarne Riverside Arts Club Choir and is making wonderful music with us.
